I could see my breath as it lingered in front of my face. The brick walls, that metal door, didn't keep anything but me in. There were no windows, only the light from outside, shinning through an eye hole in the door, landing in my lap. Everything I cam here with was thrown in the corner, taunting me like bait taunts fish. This confinement, this metal chair, was like a block of ice, sending shivers up my spine. The rope that binded me to my personal throne of ice, rubbed fiercely on my wrists.

I worked nice and hard on this one for you all to enjoy.
The decision to remove all of the other skins was just so I would be motivated to actually finish one. Blue Vision was an old skin for an old forum of mine that died out beyond revivification. Nitro was going to be used to for a contest, but the contest died before anyone could enter it. Leaf was only temporary until I could finish one of those two, but I wasn't wanting to finish either.
Now, we have Destined. Using only different shades of blue, I've created a nice, simple, easy one the eyes layout for all of my members, and guests, to enjoy.
Sure, we aren't that active right now, but I'm trying to find many different ways to bring up activity. Who knows, maybe we will big, lots of members, a bunch of posts. Or we could even remain small, not so many members, not as much posts, but a tight community of friends.
So, in short, welcome to Destined, the new look of Xano. | |

Section 001: The Galaxy
Its an era of war and turmoil in the Republic. The Sepertists have taken hold of key worlds and the Clone's are being spread too far apart. A few Clones have been positioned on Core Worlds to defend them from any possible Sepertist attacks.
The Galaxy slowly falls deeper into darkness as the ever rising threat of the Sepertist and the Sith continues to leave the worlds shaken.
The Jedi have been placed all over the Galaxy to help combat the Sepertists as Generals in the Republic Army. Jedi all over the Galaxy are fighting, falling, and even turning to the Dark Side.
Many Clone Troopers have learned the ways of the force, but can't use it to the extent of a Jedi Knight. Some Clone Troopers have left the army due to injury or even just wanting out of the war. Not many have done this, but a few have.
The Galaxy feels the ravages of war all the way out to unexplored regions. The future of the Galaxy falls onto the shoulders of a few heros in this war.

Section 003: Species
Humans: Humans dominate the Core Worlds and can be found in virtually every corner of the galaxy. They are the ancestors of early spacefaring pioneers, conquerors, traders, travelers, and refugees. Humans have always been people on the move. As a result, they can be found on almost every inhabited planet. As a species, Humans are physically, culturally, and politically diverse. Hardy or fine, light-skinned or dark, Humans remain one of the most dominant species in the galaxy.
Kel Dor: The Kel Dor originate on the planet Dorin, where they developed in an atmosphere, more common atmospheres, including those that consist of oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide, are deadly to the Kel Dor. Those Kel Dor that operate beyond the confines of their homeworld must wear breath masks and protective goggles. The Kel Dor have a long and proud Force tradition though they have adapted it to the Jedi tradition since joining the Republic over six thousand years ago. Kind-hearted, the Kel Dor nevertheless believe in swift justice.
Twi'leks: From the dry, rocky world of Ryloth, Twi'leks have made a place for themselves along the galactic rim. Those exotic beings, known for their beautiful head-tails (called Iekku), can also be found on planets such as Tatooine and Malastare. Sly, calculating beings, Twi'leks prefer to avoid trouble and stick to the shadows until an opportunity to act without undue danger to themselves presents itself. They like to observe, plan, and prepare -- rarely does an individual Twi'lek rush into anything. Some can be vain, but most keep an eye out for a way to profit from any situation.
Wookiees: Known for their battle skills, Wookiees are long-lived and very strong, with an aptitude for mechanical endeavors. They may appear to be primitive, but they are quite adept with high technology. While Wookiees have a reputation for hostility (such as pulling arms off droids), they also possess a great capacity for kindness. They make loyal friends. Wookiees have a great many customs and traditions that revolve around honor, loyalty, including the special bond of friendship called the honor family, and the sacred pledge of honor called the life debt. Though arboreal, a Wookiee never uses its climbing claws in combat. Doing this is considered dishonorable and a sign of madness.
Zabrak: The Zabrak took to the stars early in the galactic history and have a vast number of colony worlds. (Many Zabrak identify themselves by the colony they hail from.) The Zabrak have an iron will and a survival instinct second to none. They are explorers and warriors without peer, with instincts forged by the harshness of the original Zabrak homeworld and the pioneer spirit that led to the settlement of the Zabrak colonies. Zabrak possess a great amount of confidence, and they believe that there is nothing they can't accomplish. While this innate attitude could lead to feelings of superiority, most Zabrak don't look down upon other species. They believe in themselves and are proud and strong, but they rarely project and negativity toward those of other species. Each Zabrak is extremely proud of his or her home colony.
Section 004: Occupation
Fringer: Fringers come from outside society, replacing a formal education with skills and knowledge gained from experience. Usually, a fringer hails from a world that lies outside the "civilized" regions of space, but fringers can come from the fringe of galactic society -- wherever that may be. They use their dexterity, wisdom, and strength to survive whatever the galaxy throws at them. A fringer isn't necessarily unfamiliar with technology, but he certainly doesn't have access to the conveniences available to those of higher status on worlds such as Coruscant and Corellia. The fringer is hardy, robust, independent, and an expert at survival due to learning the lessons of "frontier" regions, be they in the Outer Rim or in the dankest levels of Coruscant.
Soldier: Soldiers combine discipline with martial skills to become the best pure warriors in the galaxy. Soldiers can be stalwart defenders of those in need, cruel marauders, or brave adventurers. They can be hired guns, noble champions, or cold-hearted killers. They fight for glory, for honor, to right wrongs, to gain power, to acquire wealth, or simply for the thrill of battle.
Force Adept: The Force adept is strong in the Force, but follows a different path from that of the Jedi. To the Force adept, the Force is more mysterious and more supernatural, and the aid it provides has a magical quality. A Force adept comes from a different tradition, with different beliefs and codes of conduct from those of the Jedi. There are precious few Force adepts, and the number whom become adventurers is even smaller. Some call the Force by its familiar name, while others refer to it by some other term that reflects their own traditions.
Jedi Consular: The Jedi consular uses the Force for knowledge and negotiation, seeking the most peaceful solutions to every problem. As Force-users trained in the Jedi tradition, they concentrate more on diplomacy, scholarly pursuits, and the spiritual side of the Force than on the more physical activities. Healers and researchers seek to better understand the nature of the Force and their connection to it. Mentors and teachers hope to instruct others and pass on what they have learned. Negotiators and mediators are skilled at bargaining and striking compromises. Consulars train themselves to be versatile, able to handle many situations without reaching for a weapon.
Jedi Guardian: Force-users trained in the Jedi tradition. Jedi guardians combine physical training with mastery of the Force. Jedi guardians concentrate on battle prowess, defense, lightsaber training, and physical activities. If Jedi consulars are the ambassadors of the Jedi Order, guardians are the defenders, protecting the Republic from all dangers. Few are strong enough in the Force and have the devotion to walk the Jedi's path, but those few are awarded with a powerful ally. They walk in a larger world than those who neither fool nor heed the Force.
Section 005: Characters
Name: Trooper - 1292 Corporal "Grave".
Age: 23.
Gender: Male.
Species: Human. (Clone Trooper, Republic Commissioned)
Occupation: Soldier.
Background / Picture: Trooper - 1292, known in his squad as Corporal Grave due to surviving the assualt in an astroid field off of Geonosis. The assualt ended up sending the entire unit onto the planet, crashing down due to a Droid attack on the flag ship, Jehut. 98% of the crew and soldiers aboard died during the crash. Just a handful of units made it out, Grave and a Jedi General included. They fought long and hard to defend the flag ship from what seemed to be and endless supply of Droids. The Jedi was struck down as the battle neared its end. Grave picked up the lightsaber and keeps it on him till this day. As reinforcements arrived from the front, Grave was only one of seven survivors of the crash of the Jehut.

Section 006: Notes
Yeah, not the most popular area around you guys, but I just wanted to do something out of our norm. Hope those of you who do join, enjoy it.
The current story of this RP takes place on Coruscant, the huge metropolis Core World.
Every character can use the Force, but that wouldn't be much fun, would it?
Grave hated being stationed on Coruscant while his brothers are out fighting this war. But, he knew that it was his duty to be stationed near the temple. Word of Sepertist attacks reached back here, squads were pulled off of the Outer Rim just for the defense of the Jedi and the Senate.
Grave never did know why the Jedi needed to be defended, but it didn't really matter to him. He saw the Jedi fight, as if demons of grace controlled them. Twirling that saber, deflecting blaster fire from every direction. Grave was glad they were on his side, he'd hate to have to be on the receiving end of that lightsaber.
Grave adjusted his DC-15, damned thing always like to collect dust, even in this clean, open area that is the Jedi Temple. He hated the Commandos. They always got the best equipment, best missions, best everything. Bastards, the lot of them! But, Grave knew they wouldn't be winning this war without them, he respected them. | |

- Contact Icons. Buttons to PM a user, IM a user or visit a users website are now shown in their mini profile. You can remove these by modifying the mini profile template if you wish.
- Website Field. Options for entering your websites name and url are now in all user profiles.
- Text Menus. This feature has been tweaked to allow better customization on a per skin basis. The option is now found on the "Modify Colors" page.
- Choose domain name. There is now an option in general settings where you can force users to use just one of the domains currently available.

It burns. It itches. Guh. What's happening to me? Why? It was only a small bite. Fucking neighbor. Trying to get in my house right now. Clawing at my door. Boarded up my windows, barricaded my doors. Bastard won't get in my home! If only this wound would stop fucking itching!
June 11, 2000:
I hunger. Hunger... Feed... Food... Someone came to my door... I let him in... He looked yummy. I ate him...

Scratched... flesh fell off... another... ate him too...

Yelton: Never a simple, quiet city. Weird things happened in the sewers around here. No one went to look, they tended to forget. But, one faithful day, everything changed. It all came to an end on June 4th, 2000.
Chapter 001: Cup of Tea from the Orange Tree
Damned work, always making me work overtime without the pay. BAH! Screw them I say!
"Barkeep! Corona with lime."
"Just a second."
Ah, the lovely Lotus Bar down on Main and Kelvin. The only place where sanity actually exists in this forsaken city.
The game was on the TV, home team is losing, again. Fools can't do anything right anymore! Ever since that new "star" joined them, they only went out to those games to lose. Sickens me.
"Here you go."
Ah! My beer.
It was a normal night, or so most of them thought. Jack, as per usually action, was at the Lotus Bar. His long day of work at the hotel just down the street took its tole.
The door rattled, Jack didn't even care to look, assumed another drunk. The barkeep moved his way around the bar, trying to reach the door.
"Hello?" He said as he opened the door, only to be attacked. Someone jumped straight onto him, looking as if they were just in a fight, bleeding at that. His fate sealed, the attacker reached out with his teeth, bitting into the Barkeep's neck. It was over too fast, Jack raced up, pushed the attacker out, and locked the door.
"Hector! You alright!?"
"FUCK! Bastard bit my damned neck!"
Hector placed his hand over the wound, suddenly getting dizzy and passing out.
Jack placed his hand on Hector's neck, he couldn't feel a pulse. He then reached over to the palm, checking the pulse there, couldn't feel it again.
"HECTOR!"
Hector died quickly. Jack just starred at the body of his former friend.
Suddenly, shocked by the rattle of the window, Jack saw what was attacking.
So many of them, smacking at the window, the door, the walls. So many people, well you can't call them people, not anymore. The undead pounded, wanting to get their hands on Jack. They wanted to eat his flesh.
"Ruah..."
Jack turned, only to see Hector jumping at him. It was over, for Jack. | |
